I knew you guys would come through. So, I got the first 2 Libba Bray books (3rd one not in store yet--one wonders what monumental slip-up at the press made them set a Dec. 26 in-stock date), and the first "Midnighters" book, and Pamela Dean's "The Secret Country," because the ratshit B&N store near my office did not have in stock "Tam Lin" or anything else by Pamela Dean or "A Certain Slant of Light" or, indeed, pretty much any other books at all. It seemed to be full of calendars, manga, and chocolate bars.

Thanks for the recs. I will ask for book reports from the reader in due course.
