Lately, the Repuglicans have been forgetting to watch the cameras and sayin' what they really think.

Lately, the Repuglicans have been forgetting to watch the cameras and sayin' what they really think.

That's the joy of watching them lately. The stuff they take for granted, stuff they think is normal, is coming out in ways that make it more and more clear to people that they're from a different planet.

Let's not forget, oh, torture coverups -- Rumsfeld reportedly gave instructions to "break or destroy" that mid-level Captain who told the Senate Judiciary committee about abuses in military prisons. And of course our next nominee for the Supremes may be a legal defender of torture . . .

Sometimes, they forget to blink.

See, I've been thinking of the Bar/Bill duo together also. I have been finding recent events satisfying, in part because these were probably my two most hated characters from Reagan and Bush I. I spat and fumed with hatred for them, in part on their own merits, in part because they didn't seem sufficiently hated to me. People called William Bennet more sophisticated, smart, decent, not an extremist. Likewise Bar- she was ok, she was pro-choice. No, they were not ok. They were just cackling evil aristocrats, full of disdain and malice, without an ounce of decency. Hypocrites trying to pass as human. I curse them!

Oh, and Bill, if you really want the crime rate to drop? Abort *all* babies, regardless of color! Neat, huh?
