I never buy holiday gifts, except for small children such as nieces and nephews. I don't receive them. I am one of those tiresome people who sends money to good causes instead, and then swans about wearing a smug, irritating little smirk.

And every year I yearn for this.

I mean, what's $2000 for a coat? One must dress, after all.
