Gotta hand it to your boys: they showed real heart last night. Either road, it's some damn good baseball--wish I could say same re the election campaign.

So here's luck to 'em. FWIW, all the doormen in my building are Mets fans who hate the Yankees more than Bosox fans do and were crowing when I got home late last night. Bastids.

Me, I am going to the theater this evening & will miss the game, which will either be Superb Ball or Utter Dregs, depending on relative depth of the two bullpens. They must each be on Pitcher #36 by now, eh?

Am weighing pros & cons of going to theater on Nov 2 as well. Like, possibly the Sydney Opera House.
