Oh man, the museum at Basra has been looted. Tried to find out what's known about the museums in Mosul and Baghdad, but of course everyone's line is busy. Not to mention all the sites... Nineveh (what didn't get stolen last time), Ctesiphon, Babylon, Ur. Well, it's what we've been expecting, but still is hard to believe they let it happen. Absurd to care when the hospitals are overflowing, but it's the fucking cradle of civilization that's being dismantled.

Wonder if the conversion to Christianity will go smoother...
