Not so much with the lunch meat. But if prosciutto counts? I could eat a lot of prosciutto.

Heh, probably not. I'm not very friendly.

Used to be. Still pretend to be.

In Italy, they make this chestnut ice cream, with the grainy texture of chestnuts. Also green apple ice cream. Also a rice ice cream that is like what happens to rice pudding when Leonardo da Vinci makes it. But if I had to choose one, I'd go with the chestnut.

Same thing that is my favorite thing: A tendency to argue both sides because, dude, I love to argue.

Oh, people I know personally?
Among the dead: Several different friends named John and one named Eric. A beloved cousin Deborah. A couple of really good cats.
Among the living: Two friends who live in Italy whom I do not see often enough.

Can't beat Holly's answer: I want everyone who reads this to also fill it out and post it on their blogs, so the procrastination can flow between us all.

No shoes, no pants. The things I am wearing? Black.

Not in a million years can I answer this. But lately?
Writer: Roberto Calasso has got me all hot under the hairline and The Third Man has got me all hot behind the eyes.
But that's this week. Favorite book, as measured by sheer number of times reread: The Lord of the Rings. Movie measured the same way: Probably Lawrence of Arabia. Author measured the same way: Probably E.M. Forster.

Coffee.
Or fresh cherry juice... oh, you meant alcohol? Well, a damn good glass of red wine, or a shot of Jamesons.

To do: Karate, to watch: baseball.

Used to be dark dark brown/black, now I match my cats, one of which is white & the other Russian blue.

Brown.

Not any more; yay for lasik.

Since #40 is dessert, I assume this is the savoury course. So, hm, some kind of seafood, probably.

Pasta with squid ink? Yeah, maybe that.
Or else a fresh apricot. Can't really beat a fresh apricot.

Happy ending, if that's the choice. But if the choice is between Happy Ending and Tragic Ending, I go with Tragic. I just don't love scary.

Umm, I can draw a near-perfect circle freehand, although come to think of it, I haven't tried recently, so maybe not.
I'm a pretty good translator... uh, I know quite a lot about copyright law. I'm a fairly good artist...
