I am hoping that Woody Allen can be induced to re-subtitle Mel Gibson's S&M version of the The Passion a la What's Up Tiger Lily. It would be a twofold favor: Gibson's movie urgently needs better subtitles for the Aramaic, and Woody Allen urgently needs to make a movie worth watching. It's win-win.

Has anyone heard anything about his new one? The trailer made it sound almost palatable.

I gave up on Woody Allen about 20 movies ago, so I can't say. But am now hoping he will cast Mel Gibson in his next star-studded effort. Perhaps he and Mel can collaborate on that Disney Holocaust flick? I'd go see that one.
