Can anyone tell me the derivation of the word "snark" or "snarky" as it is commonly used in the blogosphere?
Not the Lewis Carroll "Hunting of the Snark" source, which I know, but the more general Brit (I think) slang term meaning, something like bitchy and snide and snotty and witty and sharp. More or less.
I need an answer fast.
ETA: My homes! you guys are da bomb--I asked for fast and I got greased lightning.
Thanks!
