Argh. I have just spent the past half hour trying to figure out why I can't post images here using the code that LJ claims I can use (img src="http etc"). What's more, I have no idea at all how I got pix to work the other day. Which is too bad because I have some funny ones.

Bleah. Going to go read a book now, drink coffee, stare at the wall, or other productive activity.

Are you deleting all the extra spaces they put in the code that's posted in their FAQ? And I always leave out the image description, because you can't see it anyway.

Well, I think I sort of got it to work... it involves an amazing number of esoteric steps, which I have now written down. Somehow LJ cannot download the pix from my LJ photo scrapbook or whatever the hell it is called. Ditto the yahoo photos page. But I think I've figured out how to get them to download. Is very humiliating all round.

The time I turned base metal into gold in that alchemical lab in Prague was easier, I swear.
